Where will conference registration be located?
The Conference Registration Desk will be located at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center near the 3rd floor entrance on South 15th Street (facing Hotel Murano). The Desk will officially open at 8:00 am on Wednesday, October 9, 2013.
What is the SHRM Chapter and State Council Leadership Workshop and NHRMA Annual Business Meeting?
Although open to all, the target audience is any SHRM volunteer leader or prospective volunteer leader (chapter or state council presidents, directors or any other volunteer title). The first part of the meeting is the Annual Business Meeting for NHRMA (including election of officers) followed by an update from our SHRM reps. The workshop is the final piece and is designed to be a topic that brings value to the volunteer leaders to help them back at the local level to be effective in their volunteer leader roles.
Can I just attend one day of the Conference?
Yes, there is a one day option available for purchase at the time of registration.
Can I bring a guest to the NHRMA Evening Event?
Yes, guest tickets will be available for purchase through the online registration site. Already registered? Please email Register@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com to add a guest ticket to your registration.
I need to cancel my registration. What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made in writing to the address below and postmarked by August 30, 2013 to receive a full refund, less a $100 administrative fee. Cancellations received after August 30, 2013 will not be eligible for a refund; however, an alternate person may attend for the registrant. See the following question regarding the conference substitution policy.

I can no longer attend the Conference, but my colleague is available. What is the substitution policy?
If you are unable to attend NHRMA 2013, payment of a $50 administrative fee enables you to transfer your registration to another person by notifying NHRMA 2013 c/o Conference Solutions in writing by email, fax, or mail. Substitutions will be transferred at the same rate as the original registration. Substitutions can be made up until the pre-registration deadline, or at the onsite registration desk.
Are there any academic credits available for this Conference?
Yes, the Conference has been approved for HRCI credits. The conference committee will seek accreditation once the program has been finalized. The conference website will be updated once this information is available.
After the Conference, how do I submit my HRCI credits?
Please use the Recertification Credit Form that will be provided in your Conference Program to keep track of the workshops you attend. For questions about recertification policies and procedures, please visit the recertification page at www.hrci.org.
Can I obtain a Certificate of Attendance?
Yes, there will be a Certificate of Attendance available for the Conference.
I have some dietary restrictions/ special needs, how do I inform the Conference Planners?
When you create your registration account, there will be a field where you can enter any dietary restrictions or special needs information. A member of our team will be in contact to assist you, as needed.
I would like to reserve a hotel room in Tacoma, close to where the Conference is taking place. Which hotel should I contact?
