Is the NHRMA 2020 Conference still taking place in Spokane, Washington this September? 

  • The in-person conference will still be held as planned, pending governmental restrictions. 
  • Our priority is the health, safety, and well-being of our 2020 conference attendees.
  • Our team meets frequently to discuss information related to emerging and rapidly evolving details of COVID-19. We are actively monitoring the public health concerns around COVID-19 and encourage attendees to check the CDC and World Health Organization’s (WHO) websites for additional information.
  • We remain committed and focused on creating a safe, exciting, and customized experience focused on innovation, education, and collaboration for all attendees.
  • This is a dynamic and evolving situation. We will continue to update our communication on this page as more information is available.
 
What steps is NHRMA taking to help build confidence among participants? 
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available at key points throughout the convention center, particularly in high-trafficked areas. We encourage all attendees to stay informed on the basic protective measures the public can take, including wearing face masks at all events.
  • This year, our meeting will be “handshake free” to minimize the potential transmission of any illness. We will have signs throughout the meeting reminding attendees of our handshake free meeting.
 
I’d like more information about NHRMA’s preparedness plan for COVID-19 as the event date nears.

Does NHRMA have recommended travel and health safety tips for me to consider prior to arriving in Spokane? 
  • Attendees should not travel to the conference if they are feeling unwell or have been exposed to anyone who has recently tested positive for COVID-19.
  • Attendees should monitor the CDC travel guidelines and the WHO travel guidelines prior to their departure.
 
Where can attendees learn more about the meeting schedule and any changes in programming due to COVID-19?

I changed my travel plans because of COVID-19. Can I get reimbursed for my registration? 
  • Registrants should follow the cancellation policy as stated below by contacting Register@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com:
  • Cancellation/Refunds: Through August 28, 2020: Refund less a 20% administrative fee; After August 28, 2020: No refund
 
I’ve decided not to travel to the NHRMA Conference, and I’m having trouble getting the hotel to refund my reservation. What do I do? 
  • Hotel cancellations must be made directly with the Davenport Grand Hotel at 509.458.3330 via the instructions on your hotel reservation confirmation.
